No, the the doctor guy explained that is all a conspiracy and the government is out to get him, fight the power
Mercury poisoning can take place anywhere there is a fish in about any fish except that swordfish, sharks, and tuna are just a high risk fish. The governments part in trying to keep people safe is making the mercury consumption amount laws and how much mercury is legal to be sold in supermarkets.
Actualy there is alot of murcury poisioning right here in maine, because polution drifts towards the northeast. I think the government needs to play a more serious role, they need to activly monitor murcury levels in fish being sold.
Large amounts of mercury poisioning can take place around certain factories or near volcanoes. There is natural mercury that occurs in nature, most likely to be found around volcanoes. There were high levels of mercury in Iraq when they did their studies also.
The government hasn't done a very good job making sure that people are safe from mercury. They give us no good advice to shop safely. They do not base any advice that they do give on public health. They tell people that they will warn them when they are at risk of mercury poisoning, but they don't.
Large amounts of mercury poisoning take place near volcanoes, forest fires, and abandoned thermometer factories. The government is trying to keep people safe, both the consumers, and the jobs of the producers.
Mercury is fount naturaly in the ocean, volcanoes, and power plants. The government is not making sure we are safe. they still sell fish over the leagal limit of mercury.
The government doesn't take action when fish have to high of mercury levels like they claim that they do. Yeah the government pulled ten million cans of tuna off the shlef do to mercury levels, and said to stop eating large amounts of fish. The science of mercury levels has changed and the guys in the pdcast said that the government isn't keeping up with the scientific research of the mercury levels. The government has a certain level that they say is to high of mercury but the scientist say that they have discovered that it is much lower than the government says it is due to new studies. so it tells me that the government just tells the people what they know at the time and never check it again.
