Podcast and Blog Reflection
What are your feelings surrounding the use of today's podcast and web blog in today's class and the unit surrounding toxins in chemistry?
This blog will serve as an online journal to support student-to-student and student-to-teacher dialogue surrounding topics discussed in class. All postings must be appropriate and respectful of others.

Mercury is toxic, fish contain mercury, fish are toxic
I guess the podcast was kind of useful, it gave me a lot of toxin information and made me kind of sort of think about the toxicity of fish and how marcury can really take a bad tole on your life.
I think this is a good way to use the computer to keep up on current events, but this particular podcast might not have been the best aplication for the technology. using mercury in fish was a good tie in with the chapter though.
The podcast was very informative. It helped me learn about the high risk of mercury in certain fish. I was not aware that canned tuna was so bad either. I will definately pass on what i know about the mercury levels in fish to others.
I think the podcast/blog was useful as a tool for learning. I learnt about toxic fish, and that some people spend alot of time studying fish and their effects.
I do not feel that this way was a good way to keep up on current events. For me when i want to know about the current events i like visuals rather that just listening. I think that it tied in well with our toxicity chapter and helped us expand our knowledge.
I think that using the podcast was usefull so we can learn more about current events. I trhink it was better than reading out of a book and do ing work from the book.
I thought that using the podcast was a great way to learn the information that was needed. It was easier for me to get information from the podcast than it is in class. I think it is because of the headphones and no one else was talking throughout the whole thing. Although the people talking were very very annoying I still learned a lot from the podcast. It also makes it a lot easier to pass inthe assignments when you want. I wouldn't mind doing podcasts again.
